Greetings Draconians! It's my first post ever since I assume this position as captain. First and foremost, it's a real great honour to be the captain of this FUNTASTIC HOUSE! This House is cool! This House doesn't need much of renovation...just need to put in more furniture...cuz old furniture are being shifted away. Haha.. Ok Ok...serious time!
As you may all know, IMU CUP will commence in August. The last week of August to be more precise. So we have approximately 3 months before the whole thing starts. However, time will not be on our side if we do not prepare ourselves well for the incoming course of events. To address the issue, I will first talk about the VACANCIES FOR CERTAIN SPORTS CAPTAINS :
1) International chess
2) Darts
3) Foosball
4) Netball
5) Scrabble
6) Volleyball
As you can see....We still do not have representative/captains for these sports.Hence, I would need people to step up for this!
The final issue to be addressed here is that, there will be TRAININGS prior to IMU CUP commencement. Therefore, for those who still think it is still early for sports training or preparations, I really hope you can change your mentality on that. This is simply for the sake of saving the trouble of finding people for participation and also to use the available time we have to improve ourselves on the sports that we are going to participate. Some of you will be receiving calls to participate in trainings for certain sports that you have already signed up..including CHEERLEADING haha! (Eg. Adrian will commence Basketball training after his summative his over in late May 2010. I will be commencing the track and field training in June 2010) Hence, I really hope that there's cooperation and understanding towards the situation that we are in. However, one big line to draw is that you are not forced to participate but are ENCOURAGED to! It is sports! No one is forced to do sports! (I THINK :D...I know we are forced to study our asses off....that is sure haha!)
LET's MAKE OUR PREDECESSORS PROUD AND GO A LEVEL HIGHER! LET's WIN THE IMU CUP BABY!!!!!
